Around each corner or up each hill, every sight was more beautiful than the last, very postcard worthy! No doubt the pictures (which we took hundreds of) won't do it justice.
The famous isle of Capri

Shortly after we started, this little character joined us. He literally led us the entire rest of the way, 3 hours or so. He barked at all the other dogs along the way, as if to tell them where we were going, even picked up a couple of canine friends along the way. We hope he got back home, he ended up in a village very far from his own, but just like Hansel and Gretel, he marked his path very well as we went along. We were very tired, it was almost 13000 steps for humans, imagine how many steps for this little terrier!
Several times, we met small cars or trucks, on little roads we would consider to only be a path.
The lemon trees are covered by nets to protect them from the "harsh" winter climate.
Tim, is your life insurance paid up?
This is netting that once the olives are ripe, the net will be rolled out, and when the olives fall, they fall into the net to be harvested. Olive oil production is a big industry here.
Bougenvalia are all over the place.
