For all our gardening friends

As everyone knows, Ireland is famous for its many shades of green. We have been amazed by the flowers. They are everywhere and they are gorgeous. There are occasional large palm trees (how is that possible, they are north of Quebec City!), the rhododendrons (not currently in bloom) are so prolific that they have to hire workers to cut them down, fuchsia grow naturally in the ditches ( they refer to them as hedgerows)
The Heather is in bloom

I can’t get over how lovely, or how large or how colourful the hydrangeas are. They are everywhere and are beautiful shades of oink, blue and purple.

There is even Holly growing everywhere,
