We’ve arrived!

After an overnight flight, we are dragging our tired bodies around Dublin seeing some of the sights. True to traditional Irish weather, it is raining one minute, sunshine the next, then misting within 10 minutes again. It is going to be hard to decide what to wear on a daily basis.
Our home for the next two days, in the centre of the city.
Dublin castle

Tim and his friend “Rusty”!

Gardens at St. Patrick’s cathedral. (We will be visiting it tomorrow, it is a block from our hotel).
Tim couldn’t sleep on the plane! “ resting his eyes” while we wait for Mark and Lisa!  💤

Trinity college, founded in 1592! We visited the book of Kells, a book written in Latin around 800 a.d. it is the New Testament Matthew, Mark, Luke and John.

This is a portion of Trinity college library containing a fraction of their books. Instead of arranging them alphabetically, they are arranged according to size! The largest books are on the bottom

We stopped in at O’Neill’s for a wee refreshment.

Trying out some Guinness! It’s a hearty beer!

Mark and Tim enjoying their beer and....!

It total we walked 15,000 steps and the day is not done.......but we are getting there!

Now off to dinner.
